Kips Bay Decorator Showhouse

Richard Rabel Interiors + Art, LTD. was invited and honored to participate in the 2019 Kips Bay Decorator Showhouse in New York, arguably THE best decorator showhouse in the world.

Bringing his knowledge of art, history and artisan craftsmanship, his Entry and Lower Staircase was inspired by the foyer in Lord Leighton’s London house and Whistler’s Peacock dining room, both designed in late 19th century England. What resulted were, in the words of 1st Dibs Introspective Magazine, “contemporized Gilded Age”, rooms rich in imagination and details for the 21st century.
